DIVI IMAGE ASSIST

Documentation

Install in Minutes No Coding Needed Divi 5 Ready

Everything you need to install Divi Image Assist and add its nine image modules to your Divi 5 website.

BEFORE YOU START

Requirements

Divi Image Assist runs on any WordPress site that meets these minimums.

WORDPRESS

WordPress 5.8 or newer

Any standard WordPress installation. Multisite is supported.

PHP

PHP 7.4 or newer

PHP 8.x is fully supported and recommended for best performance.

THEME / BUILDER

Divi 5

The Divi or Extra theme, or the Divi Builder plugin, with Divi 5 enabled. The plugin shows a friendly notice (and does nothing else) when Divi is missing.

LICENSE

Plugin ZIP file

Your divi-image-assist.zip download from your account. Keep it handy for the next step.

INSTALLATION

Install from the WordPress dashboard

The recommended method — four steps, about two minutes.

STEP 1

Open the plugin uploader

In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.

STEP 2

Choose the ZIP file

Click Choose File, select divi-image-assist.zip from your computer, then click Install Now.

STEP 3

Activate the plugin

When the install finishes, click Activate Plugin. You can also activate later from the Plugins screen.

STEP 4

Find the modules

Edit any page with the Divi 5 builder and search for “Assist” in the module list — all nine image modules appear under Divi Image Assist.

ALTERNATIVE METHOD

Install via FTP / SFTP

Prefer the manual route, or working around an upload limit? Three steps.

1. Unzip divi-image-assist.zip on your computer.
2. Upload the divi-image-assist folder to /wp-content/plugins/ on your server.
3. In the WordPress admin, open Plugins and click Activate under Divi Image Assist.

AFTER INSTALLATION

Start building

Open any page in the Divi 5 Visual Builder, add a module, and pick one of the nine Assist modules. Every module ships with full Content and Design tabs, responsive controls and sensible defaults — see the module overview or the live demos for what each one can do.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Common questions

NOTICE

“Requires Divi 5” admin notice

The plugin is active but Divi is missing or running Divi 4. Install or update the Divi/Extra theme (or Divi Builder plugin) to Divi 5 and the notice disappears.

MODULES

Modules not in the builder list

Confirm Divi 5 is enabled for the page you are editing, then hard-refresh the builder (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R) so the module list reloads.

UPLOAD

“Link expired” or upload fails

Your host’s upload limit is below the ZIP size. Raise upload_max_filesize in PHP settings, or use the FTP method above.

UPDATES

Keeping the plugin updated

Update from the Plugins screen like any other plugin. Your module settings and layouts are stored with your pages and are never touched by updates.
